We are excited to introduce Mr. Bonamase and to welcome him to the Canfield Band Family. Mr. Bonamase received his Bachelor of Music Education from the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. He is in his fourth year of teaching and his first year as high school band director in the Canfield Local School District. Prior to Canfield, Mr. Bonamase served as the high school band director in the Southeast Local School District in Ravenna, Ohio, for three years. He is an active member in the National Association for Music Education and the Ohio Music Education Association, and he continues to perform professionally as a saxophonist in the Youngstown area. Mr. Bonamase resides in Hubbard, Ohio.
